Membership
The Sarasota Storm Triathlon Club is a USAT official club, established in 2005 as the Sarasota Sharks Tri Club by a group of triathlon-loving friends who wanted to inspire other local athletes to join the multisport world. We're open to current, former, and aspiring triathletes of all levels and abilities. Maybe you're thinking about doing your first triathlon and want to meet some experienced people to help you get there safely and to have fun. Maybe you have a few races under your belt but want to swim, bike, and run with someone just a little bit faster. Maybe you've done multiple Ironmans and want to help the next generation of triathletes fall in love with our favorite sport. We are about mentoring new athletes, friendship, encouragement, supporting each other and creative training opportunities. The Storm is the place for you!
Are you visiting form out of town, perhaps on an extended vacation or business trip, or here seasonally to escape the winter up North? You are welcome to train with us! Check out our club calendar, and our local training resources where you can find pools, open water swimming opportunities, and popular cycling areas. Feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions about training in the Sarasota - Venice - Bradenton area!
